Sophie Laverdure

This is the story of Sophie Laverdure, a newly qualified architectural graduate who after years of studying structures and building, decided that this was not to be her future. Instead, her passion for beautiful and natural materials such as leather drew her to the design of bags and accessories.

Together with the expertise of one of the most skilled shoemakers in Vieux-Lille, and the knowledge of a supplier of the finest leather, Sophie embarked on a project close to her heart. Quickly she delivered exciting and unique handcrafted pieces. News of her refreshing designs spread fast.

Within two years, Sophie’s small business flourished, becoming a sought after brand with requests for exclusive collections from fashion houses such as Chemins Blancs, Chantal Thomas and The Box.

The collections have been praised for their elegance, individuality, texture, colour, sensitivity and poetic appeal. Sophie always works with the highest quality of leathers including calfskin and lambskin and leather with metallic finishes. This season’s colour palette encompasses aubergine, brown, deep pink and autumnal hues that complement catwalk fashion statements.
